Building Your Personal Brand:Sarah Barr

Sarah Barr, CEO and Founder of Washashore Writing, returns to the Russell Library Tuesday, June 9th to present her workshop titled "Building Your Personal Brand." Workshop begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm and is part of the on-going Russell Library Career Program.

What you will take away from her workshop:

  • You never get a second chance to make a first impression
  • Find your core confidence
  • Build your brand
  • Learn techniques that will help you get that next job
  • Proper breathing
  • Eliminate distractions about yourself
  • Learn where to look, what to wear, what to say in interviews

You watched her on television as a four-time Emmy-nominated anchor and reporter. You've seen her give informative press briefings while serving two Hartford mayors. And while you didn't see her, you heard the words delivered by others that she crafted as Vice President of Corporate and Government Communications for a leading regional bank in Connecticut. Inspiring words and work that received national recognition.
Sarah has more than 30 years of experience and connections; her work goes well beyond the media, government, and business sectors.

The Russell Library Career Program is funded in part by a Middletown Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the family of Thomas J. Regan and the Liberty Bank Foundation.
