Connecticut Research: the Basics
If your ancestors had Connecticut roots, there are certain sources that can be especially helpful in providing more information on their pasts. Join us on June 17th for a virtual (Zoom) program about the most commonly used Connecticut sources. Participants will be introduced to Connecticut’s vital records, church records, land records, probate files and more.
Bryna O’Sullivan, a Middletown based professional genealogist and French-to-English genealogical translator, will present the program. As owner of Charter Oak Genealogy, she specializes in lineage society applications. A Connecticut native, she enjoys tracing her family’s roots in the area back to the 1600s.
Registration is required. You will receive the Zoom link 2 hours before the program begins.
