Finding Your Italian Roots Online
Finding Your Italian Roots
Have you always wanted to learn more about your Italian ancestors but didn't know how to begin? Starting with passenger lists to identify the places of birth for Italian immigrants, we will explore the online resources that document Italian births, marriages, and deaths, as well as civil records that can date back to the early 1800s.
The program will be presented by Mark D’Ambrosi, a genealogist who specializes in researching Italian American families and their origins in Italy. As the owner of Valentino Genealogy, he assists Italian Americans in obtaining dual Italian citizenship. A Waterbury native, Mark enjoys traveling in Italy to rediscover his roots. He is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and National Genealogical Society.
Registration is required. You will receive the Zoom link 2 hours before the program begins.
