Spice Club: Harissa
Join us for a series of exploring spices on Zoom.
Participants may pick-up a spice sample at the borrowing desk or with curbside pick-up.
(Limit of 10) A suggested recipe will be included and some of the history of the spice.
Chose to make the suggested recipe, or one of your own, and join other food enthusiasts to talk about what you made, what you want to try, and what you thought of the spice.
We will be discussing our results via Zoom. Many of the recipes featured are from The Immigrant Cookbook, and
have a flavor of the stories of the Yiddish Books in translation from the Yiddish Center of the Book.
