(Virtual) Nature Study and Author Visit from Leslie Bulion on Zoom! Online

Calling all nature lovers! Register for your free copy of the book, “Superlative Birds” - a wonderful mix of science and poetry from local Children’s Author, Leslie Bulion! Use it to inspire your own creative writing, field observations, and nature journaling!

Then join us on Zoom for an exciting evening with Leslie as she shares how she uses all of her senses to observe and learn about nature in her field journals, then plays with rhythm, rhyme, and sound to write fun and funny science poetry!

All ages are welcome!

Supplies are limited so registration is required and will close one day before the event begins (on 10/19/2020). We will have a limited number of supply kits (one per household) which will need to be picked up at the Russell Library prior to the online event.

After you register, if a copy is availabe, a librarian will call or email to confirm your supply kits are ready for you at the Youth services desk! After you hear from us you can:

  1.  Pick your kit up during library operating hours (Monday-Saturday: 10-5pm) or
  2.  Call us to set up a curbside appointment!
