Hygge Living For Pandemic Times Online

Hygge Living For Pandemic Times

This winter season may continue to be unprecedented due to the Corona virus. Restrictions may go back into place in order to keep people socially distant to help stop the spread of the virus. Keeping our immune systems strong is more important than ever. Enter the Danish term Hygge. (pronounced HooGah) Hygge means a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture).

"Why not follow the Danish example and bring more hygge into your daily life?"

Join us for a program on Zoom with ways to create this feeling in your own home.

For many of us, the stage is set for hygge. We deeply crave comfort, security, and a sense of well-being. This may be just the time to acknowledge that hygge is more than a trendy Danish buzzword, but a mindset that can help us survive these difficult times.

Registration required. Zoom link sent an hour prior to the program from "LibCal Calendar."
