Eat Smart, Live Strong -Part 2 with Angela Surowiecki, Community Nutrition Education Specialist. (Online) Online

Enjoy fun and lively activities virtually with other older adults, you know, folks of a certain age!! This exciting Eat Smart, Live Strong series will help with tips easy ways to make smart food choices and to exercise more. Learn how you can Eat Smart and Live Strong. Each session in Eat Smart, Live Strong focuses on changing behavior by learning, planning and practicing new skills.   A series of 4 weekly classes will focus on goal setting, making small changes, problem solving and spending less. Each session will be 45-60 minutes. Materials can be picked up at the library,   curbside, or sent electronically once you have registered.  The packets include forms that can be used to track your progress.  Packets are available in Spanish as well.  A few special extras are included in each bag. 

 

Part 2 of this program you will build on your committment to physical activity and adding nutritions food to your diet.  You will continue to note your progress and if you are working with a care giver or health provider use your "smart card" to share your progress.
