Virtual Job and Career Group: Spotting Fake LinkedIn Profiles and More with Dean Artruc In-Person / Online

Join Dean Artruc, IT Infrastructure Leader, for a presentation on phony LinkedIn profiles. 

We have all received them... Those questionable connection requests where the requestor appears honest enough, but are they who they say they are? Why are they requesting to connect with you? You hover over the "Accept" or "Ignore" buttons with indecision. Let's discuss how to spot them and why fake profiles exist.

Russell Library presents weekly opportunities to network with other job seekers, as well as receive the advice of professionals. The focus will be on the job market and provide updated industry information during this uncertain time of COVID19. The Job and Career Group hosts virtual workshops and a weekly networking session via WebEX. You will need to download WebEx to attend.
