Virtual Job and Career Group: Linda Van Valkenburgh: Social and Emotional Intelligence for the Career Professional and P2E Update with Ben Bissell Online
Social and Emotional Intelligence for the Career Professional
Social and emotional intelligence is the ability to be aware of our own emotions and those of others, in the moment, and to use that information to manage ourselves and manage our relationships. EQ is a measure of emotional intelligence. We will discuss the Four Quadrant model; various profiles; behaviors that can be changed; and how this can be used in the workplace.
We will also have a visit from Ben Bissell to give an update on Platform to Employment. The next class session will begin on May 2nd.
Russell Library presents weekly opportunities to network with other job seekers, as well as receive the advice of professionals. The focus will be on the job market and provide updated industry information during this uncertain time of COVID19. The Job and Career Group hosts virtual workshops and a weekly networking session via WebEX. You will need to download WebEx to attend.
Registration is required.
